Before the Coffee Cart
I left my job at a cafe at the end of 2024 to start my “adult job” and internship for the degree I had worked for over the last 7 years (I graduated from undergrad and am still finishing my master’s). But I couldn’t shake the feeling of how much I missed working in the coffee business, I often caught myself thinking “I wish I could have done that [coffee] for the rest of my life. I missed the regulars whose order I had memorized, the smell of coffee beans first thing in the morning, and the joy when I was able to create beautiful latte art. And of course I was secretly jealous of my partner who still worked at that same cafe.
At the beginning of this year, 2025, I wrote down many goals for different areas of my life in a journal. The last page was titled “in five years”, one of the goals on that page was to open my own coffee business. I would have never guessed that less than 11 months later, I would find myself in the midst of that very goal unfolding in front of my eyes, opening my own coffee cart with my partner who I love with all my heart right here on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The Beginning of Epiphany Coffee Cart
In August 2025 my partner and I decided to go to Home Depot with a $20 blueprint and a dream. Since then we have worked at both farmer’s markets, private events, and are planning many holiday events with Epiphany’s Coffee Cart (hot chocolate bars are our favorite holiday treat!). We are still taking it all in, all the progress we’ve made, all the support we’ve received, and all the new friends we’ve made over the last few months. It’s hard to believe this is actually real life some days, but I guess a lot can really happen in a year! All I can say is that there is so much gratitude and love in my heart, and that I can’t not wait to see where this road takes us.

One of the biggest reasons we started this coffee business is because we truly love serving and meeting people. Coffee has a way of bringing people together in the simplest yet most genuine ways.
